Maruti Suzuki, a leader when it comes to the passenger car market in India, has been facing increased competition in the small car market, which is its main stronghold.

This is because of the fact that in the last few years, many global auto manufacturers have entered in India, which has a wide range of products to offer, along with new and different technologies. As Maruti tries to keep up with the advancing global players and maintain its position in India, the car manufacturer has been coming up with different ideas, like its recent plan to offer all models in CNG variants.
