Adrian Sutil, the Force India F1 Team driver, recently registered his best performance this season, as the driver managed to come in at the sixth position at the German GP on Sunday. The driver for the F1 India team began at the eight position on the grid and managed to gain 2 more places by finish, with a 1:26:208 lap time.

Meanwhile, Sutil’s teammate Paul Di Resta was involved in a crash during the first lap with Nick Heidfeld of Renault. The driver however, managed to recover during the course of the race, managing to finish at the 13th position.

Sunday’s 8 points, helped push the Force India F1 Team to the seventh place with a total of 20 points in Constructors’ Championship.

Adrian Sutil said that the race was great and he was pleased with the results he achieved for the team as they deserved it. Their car throughout the weekend was great and everything went just perfectly. Their tyres lasted and they made all the right calls with their strategy that helped him to beat driver Nico Rosberg at the end. To be able to achieve this result in his home race, also made it more special for him, and he would like to thank his fans for all their support throughout the weekend. However, he added that this was just the beginning as they still have a lot of work to do in the upcoming races for scoring more points, so that they can out run the teams ahead of them.

Vijay Mallya, the Principal of the Team, was quoted as saying that the Sunday race was a wonderful performance from the team, and he was delighted on seeing Adrian finish in the sixth place, a result, which everybody had been working hard for. The last couple of races had been a little unlucky for them; however, on Sunday they demonstrated their car’s true pace and delivered results to go along with it. Their only frustration was that Paul became the unlucky victim during the accident in the first lap with Heidfeld Without this incident, he was sure that could have had both drivers winning point finished. Even still, they welcomed the eight points scored on Sunday, which are important for them in their championship position, and will help them move before Toro Rosso.
