The Japanese hot-hatch is back and all jazzed-up at the Geneva Motor Show. Honda made everybody go nuts with the styling and features of its hatchback, the Jazz. In India it was one of the most expensive hatch in its class. It was small, powerful, adorable and packed with features. And within all the sizzle at the Geneva Motor Show, Honda unveiled the hot-hatch Jazz, which went unnoticed by most visitors.
Dubbed, Jazz Si is powered by a 1.4-liter i-VTEC, pumping up to 94hp and 94 lb-ft of torque. Mated to the motor is a manual transmission. It is claimed to have a top speed of over 180 kmph. Featuring the new Jazz Si is a new body kit with side skirts, LED running lights, 16-inch wheels with low profile tyres and numerous upgrades on interior trim pieces. However, it adopts most of the external features from the mainstream version available in the market, and guess it just fits the bill for most of us.
According to Honda, the Jazz Si is a ‘hot’ version, which is deniable looking at what’s under the hood. There is no word on the Jazz Si to come to Indian shores as yet.
