Rossi races the Ferrari 458 GT3 at Monza

Valentino Rossi had a disappointing finish at the debut race of 2012 MotoGP season in Qatar last week. However, that did not stop him from displaying spectacular run at the Blancpain Endurance Series.

The seven-time MotoGP world champion tried a different sport this weekend while racing at Monza, in the Ferrari 458 GT3. Rossi teamed up with his best friend, Alessio Uccio Salucci and qualified 10th out of 55 drivers with just 2.8 seconds short of the pole. Moreover, the pair qualified fifth in the Pro-Am class and was just 0.8 seconds behind the fastest Pro-Am car.
