McLaren MP4-12C Spider:

The upcoming model from McLaren Automotive MP4-12C Spider, is nothing but an improvement in the current MP4-12C. The existing MP4-12C’s roof has been axed to give a fresh and new look to the MP4-12C Spider. The car is a rear-wheel drive roadster and has a 3.8L twin-turbocharged V8 engine under the hood which is capable enough to take the car’s speed to a whopping 196mph. In case the roof is in its place, the speed has been found to reach the 204mph mark too. The car has an additional weight of 40kg over the coupe. Moreover, the engine churns out enough power that despite the folding hard-top that tucks behind the seats of the car, the MP4-12C Spider reaches 62mph mark from standstill in just 3.1seconds. The car, with a price tag of 195,000 GBP, has now been made available to order.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta:

This car has revolutionized the sports car segment and has taken Ferrari to a newer level. The sports car is the most powerful and the fastest road model that the Italian carmaker has ever produced. This rear-wheel drive car has a 6.3L V12 engine capable of delivering a power of 730bhp. With a top speed of over 211mph, the sports car reaches the 62mph and 124mph marks from standstill in just 3.1 seconds and 8.5 seconds respectively. Coming days of the month are going to witness the first media test drives of this revolutionary and sensational sports car. The left-hand drive car is being speculated to be in production by the end of this year and will hit the market in UK by spring 2013.
