Lamborghini Aventador Roadsters to ride hard on the Miami Airport Runway

This is Lamborghini’s 50th year and it is celebrating this year with five of its new Aventador LP 700-4 Roadsters hitting runway at Miami International Airport.

After getting the special authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration and Miami Dade County the five supercars streamed across the runway at a speed of 210 mph just 7 mph below their top speed.

With the passenger jets that take off at the 150 to 180 mph on that tarmac, Aventador has become the fastest vehicle ever driven on that tarmac. Before the speed demonstration Lamborghinis were assembled in front of a Boeing 777 for a photo shoot to mark the collaboration of Boeing and Lamborghini in the area of lightweight constructions.
