All new Nissan X-Trail revealed at 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Next-generation Nissan X-Trail remained there in the spy-shots for a short-lasting era, where yesterday the Japanese carmaker removed the cover from it at 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, and gave us a glimpse, how the new-avatar of its most acclaimed SUV will look like in the near future.

The new-generation X-Trail is the host of brand new tweaks all over. It has shredded all the boxy lines from its body, and covered it up with the curvy ones to ensemble competitive moves with the present-age competitor. The headlamps too are given LED treatments, while 19” alloy wheels and D-pillar raked “boomerang” tail lamps completes the new cosmetic at their best. Interiors also aren’t spared with the least amount of changes.

Theater-type seating arrangement seems its main USP. Chrome and piano black accents running across the interior trims had lent the upmarket feel to next-generation X-Trail. Provision for seven-person seating is the best feature which one can experience inside it. In addition, the third-row seats can also be folded down to increase boot-space if needed. And as we said the “theater-style seating” in the above lines for the new X-Trail, we mean the middle row passengers can reline their seats backward too for added dose of comfort. Almost 90-degree opening of door and extended wheelbase lends the SUV a better-entry and exit point, provided with ample of knee-room comforting middle row passengers. A lot of the technological advancement of the new age cars (like touchscreen navigation with mobile phone connectivity and other such) will be there pampering on the integral part if launched similarly in the production-specific avatar.
