Nissan 370Z replacement is scheduled for 2013 Tokyo Motor Show

Nissan 370Z is been feeling shy for being quite a bit old, hence the Japanese carmaker planned to bring its replacement at 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, confirms Autocar UK.

Tokyo’s event is scheduled to happen in November. Nissan development chief Andy Palmer confirmed that a “smaller and lighter” replacement for the current 370Z is going to be showcased at the venue. However, replacement model will though be small in size, but power is nothing meant to be lesser at any cost than the present-generation model.

Making the most of an opportunity at 2013 Frankfurt, Palmer revealed some more beans by saying, 370Z replacement will be utilizing an electric drivetrain, which will allow users to switch between the electric and combustion fuel at the effort of just a click.

Hence, new generation Nissan sports car will not be a one like the low-cost Toyota GT 86. Instead it will “feature a high performance Nismo version to ensure it could compete in the market it’s already in.”
