2014 Honda City First TV Commercial: Watch Video

Honda unveiled the new City in India some days back. And it was the one of its most promising remark with diesel engine lined-up for the first time in its bestselling car.

Honda is leaving no stones unturned to mask the best of new City amongst its buyers, and an end number of ad campaigns are seems to be its results. In fact, all of its publicity till date done is through the outdoor media, while the first one to fall on broadcasting media is the TVC showing most of the City’s new engine, and none about the car.

Hence, it is understood that Japanese carmaker is quite new to the diesel engine, as the Amaze was first one in India from Honda with a diesel jag. City is also confirmed to use that same 1.5L i-DTEC under hoods with power delivery of 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque alongside 6-speed manual transmission. The new City petrol will also be seen with the same 1.5L i-VTEC petrol of existing generation for a good 119 PS and 145 Nm of torque. A CVT gearbox is something new that this City (petrol) will see, while the 5-speed manual to be there to complement it for the lower margin sales.
