India Bound 2015 Honda Fit (Jazz) Launched in US

The new Honda Fit (Jazz) of 2015 is about to write all new records for the company, as the carmaker is betting heavily on it. Hopefully, it will be for the future, that Honda’s upcoming cars may follow the same designing language of it.

However, we don’t know how it is going to fare in US, but in most of the countries it was found doing well.

2015 Honda Fit launched in the subcompact class of States automotive industry.

Priced at $15,525 for the LX 6MT, one can upgrade it with features like roofline spoiler, LED taillights, Bluetooth connectivity and a segment-exclusive rearview camera for a starting price of $100 more than the outgoing model.

All of the Fit is US will be powered by a 1.5-liter engine developing 130 horsepower and 114 pound feet of torque. The fuel economy as per EPA is rated at 29/37/32 (city/highway/combined) mpg for manual transmission, while 33/41/36 (city/highway/combined) for LX trim, and 32/38/35 for the EX and EX-L trim with CVT. It seems the CVT of Honda is given ultimate refinement, like as it is found in other countries and models on the CVT of Honda.

“I’m thrilled that we’ve been able to greatly enhance and add to the Fit’s already excellent attributes to provide Honda customers with class-above features and refinement at such a value price point,” said Jeff Conrad, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Honda. “The 2015 Fit is practical, roomy, efficient, affordable and perhaps best of all, great fun to drive.”

The new U.S.-market Fit will be produced for the first time in North America at an all-new plant in Celaya, Mexico.
