Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG Launched In India For Rs 69.6 Lakh Ex-Showroom Delhi

Within a short time just after the launch of its compact SUV ‘GLA’ in India, Mercedes-Benz banged upon the shores once again, and this time it rolled-out GLA45 AMG for Rs 69.60 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.

GLA45 AMG is actually the powerful version of GLA that is being sold currently. Under the hoods, both comes fed by the same petrol engine of 2.0-liter. The difference between AMG-badge machine and the conventional Benz engine is – the former is titled as one of the most powerful 4-cylinder engine in the world roaring the power of 360 horses at 6,000 rpm and 450Nm peak of torque between 2,250 – 5,000rpm. All of these aggressive forces are sent to all four-wheels by 4MATIC, unlike to only front wheels in the stock GLA. A seven-speed dual-clutch AMG SPEEDSHIFT gearbox does the remaining job.

GLA 45 AMG is tanked enough to clock top-speed of 250km/h with 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds. And as per EU regulations it returns fuel-efficiency of 13.33kmpl.

Other technicalities that make up the most of this AMG tag are, tuned suspension for sports driving, speed responsive steering wheel, ventilated cross-drilled brakes with red calipers (peeping out of 19-inch alloy wheels), ESP (Electronic Stability Program) with three-stage and Curve Dynamic Assist system.
