Ford Remained Constant During November 2014

Ford remained constant over the sales of November 2014. As sold 12,762 vehicles during the month, the last-years’ sale was 12,050 units for the same period, registering a mere growth in numbers.

Exports for the company came at 7,101 units as against the 4,141 units of previous year. Must say, the domestic numbers had considerably fallen down to 5,661 cars as of 7,909 from the same month in 2013.

Mr. Anurag Mehrotra, Executive Director and Head of Marketing Sales and Service, Ford India, is blaming the dull festive season for losing sales in Indian market. Thankfully, the exports had aptly supported the balance sheet.

Ford has started the retail distribution of genuine parts over Delhi Region from November by appointing a first exclusive dealer – Eminent Auto Parts.

Ford India banks the availability of genuine parts will definitely push the bar forward and would approve the company to rake in more number of sales. The plans of retailing the genuine parts are also on the hit-list to automaker for states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and East of India.

In addition, the company had inaugurated new tough-points in the tri-city of Chandigarh and Punjab over the past month. Ford Quick Lane is also included in Chandigarh’s repertoire which too opened its doors amongst other service, sales and spare outlets.
