2015 Renault Duster Reaches Dealerships In Brazil: Launch Soon

India is one of the big markets for Renault Duster, but seems the company isn’t taking it very seriously. The model driven on our roads is the first face of lineup continuing without the facelift. Ironically, the international markets received its new face long back, now, they are on the brink of seeing a facelift of the SUV. Confirmed via a spy-shot from Brazil, the 2015 facelift model of Duster has reached dealerships and is ready for the unveiling scheduled on March 31.

The noteworthy changes on this compact SUV of Duster remains its front grill with twin-slat colored in gloss black, against the chrome of past. Even the headlamps are revived on its structure, whereas the large skid plate is placed for a rugged styling. On the rear, it’s the tail lamps that saw revision for the particular market.

The cabin receives glossy black finish on central console, tinting more highlight to it was the new air-vents with brown hoop. On the top of all, the black-brown scheme of the leather seats recommends plushness for entire cabin.

2015 Renault Duster Reaches Dealerships In Brazil
Quite unobvious for us, Duster in Brazil is powered by a 1.6-litre 16V DOHC petrol engine. The diesel side is then filled by a 2.0-litre unit mated to a 4-speed auto transmission or a 4WD system. In fact, some sources even suggested the petrol engine too will receive an automatic gearbox this time in the 2015 package.

However, for Latin America, Renault produces Duster at its plant in São José.

We believe, it is the time now Renault shall roll out the new face of Duster in the Indian market, where the delay may cost them some market shares they are enjoying as of now. After all, the competition has an increasing factor in this country.
