Toyota Camry, not just an ordinary Toyota car, boasted of opulence and lavish touches from designer offered with the trust of unshakable Japanese engineering, will soon see a new face in India. Toyota Kirloskar Motors has planned to launch the new Camry in India on April 30, 2015.

Toyota current-gen of Camry on sale in India since 2012 will receive the mid-life facelift this time. Available in two options only, petrol and hybrid, the car is not an popular buy amongst the sedan buyers of India due to the lack of diesel.

The new Camry that is about to hit India was first uncovered at Moscow Motor show in 2014. Styling changes concluded inside and outside. Some are revamped front grille, headlamps, LED lights, and garnish of chrome all over the face. The new bumper inclusive of the chin adds more oomph to the package, which inclines the car to stand in line with the present-generation’s Corolla Altis design ideology.

The rear is reworked with a fresh boot lid that entices the eyeball at a first sight with the LED lights in tail lamps and chrome strip running across both the ends. For India, alloy wheels may also go through the reinvention.

Stepped inside the cabin, a three-spoke steering wheel takes on the charge in place of the four-spoke with multi-function buttons. To driver’s delight, blue backlit instrument cluster is just spruced for a new experience with a 4.2-inch screen sitting between the dials tightly. The 6.1-inch multimedia screen takes on the charge at central console.

Under the bonnet, no reforms are made. Same petrol engine will get carried over along with the petrol-hybrid motor setup to lure a handful of eco-conscious buyers in the country.
