Upcoming Tata Motors Cars For India 2015

Tata Motors’ Horizonext strategy that allowed it to revamp the entire lineup, now revealed – more cars are coming soon. The models of Tata will serve new segment altogether where the maker hasn’t settled its foot anytime before. Named as Glade, Boom and Mobia, these newbies will attract the young genes of generation. Unlike to classic looks, fresh design language is expected to spawn over those machines.

Glade is the small car, or some can refer it as a new hatchback, to rival the Swift and its likes. Instead of looking for rivalry outside the house, it too will drive away the Indica eV2 from production line.

Boom is a sedan based on hatchback Glade, developed to lock horns with the Swift Dzire, and replacing the in-house made Indigo eCS. Both the cars (sedan and hatchback) will drive power from a new 1.05-litre diesel engine of 3-cylinder worth of 64bhp and the 1.2-litre petrol engine of Bolt. However, going by reports, the Mobia is a pickup where no further clarification delivered yet.

Tata Nexon Crossover

Apart from the aforesaid three models, Tata Motors may also launch the Nexon compact SUV unveiled at Delhi Auto Expo 2014 powered by a 1.3-litre petrol engine of Tata Motors. Some speculations replicate it to hold the new diesel engine based on 2.2-litre DICOR of Safari Storme. The last option on the list is a Hexa crossover, ready to step into the shoes of Aria. Strapped by 2.2-litre Varicor diesel engine, it will strike a difference with the option of a six-speed automatic gearbox against the standard six-speed manual.
