Tata’s next move is once again for the youths. Nano with electronic steering was its last offering, which to entice more urbanites the Indian carmaker has deployed AMT gearbox and openable boot. Called as Nano GenX, this new small car of Tata Motors is not only a statement for the industry as ‘world’s cheapest’, but factually it grown into a trendy statement – all thanks to the marketing strategy.

Stated to launch the Nano GenX on May 19, 2015, the new car also holds redesigned front and rear bumper, a bigger fuel-tank and steering drawn on the inspirations of Bolt and Zest. The maker has approved smoked headlamps and alloy wheels. One can also find the rear speakers and Bluetooth for the music system inside the cabin.

Interested buyers can book their Nano GenX for a booking amount as low as Rs 5,000. Four trims said to go on sale XE, XM, XT and XTA (AMT), where the top-end is the only model boasted with AMT. Particularly, there is also a specific distinction between manually transmitted and AMT models. The buyers of latter can derive only 94 litres of boot space, where the manual-operated cabin frees up 110 litres for the boot.
