The Bharat Benz has launched three of its heavy-duty truckstoday in India. The trucks launched include 2523R and 3123R for the haulage segment and 2523C for the construction segment. These vehicles would be soon made available across 28 Bharat Benz dealerships across India.
These three are in a series of 17 products that Bharat Benz will launch in India over the next 17 months. Eight of these have already been launched in March last year. The three trucks, which have been launched today, are based on the Mercedes Benz Axor platform, which has been tweaked to suit Indian conditions. All of these are powered by 230HP six-cylinder engine.
Bharat Benz is an exclusive brand that represents the Diamler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) that holds the port folio for trucks ranging from 6 to 49 tons. Bahrat Benz has tied up with four finance companies to provide tailor made finance solutions to its customers. These include the ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Sundaram Finance and HDFC Bank.
