Worst Selling Cars Of 2014

Worst Selling Cars Of 2014
It’s not only the best that had made to our desk; instead, we even looked out for the worst selling cars of 2014. Before concluding anything right now, it better to scroll down the list and see the list directly itself. 1.Nissan Teana – 15 units The lack of petrol engines and a very pricey attitude made it to sell the least number of cars throughout the year. Even it is been removed from the company’s official website which means the brand is discontinued in India. After all importing as a CBU (completely built units) hadn’t served well to a number of carmakers in the long run due to the swanky rate of duties imposed. 2.Toyota Landcruiser – 40 units Toyota Landcruiser too faces the similar condition of turning huge price tags with the excessive duties as being imported on [...]

What’s New With The 2015 Xylo
Mahindra Xylo only dared to challenge the Toyota Innova directly, and to an extent its effort are worthy to talk of. Mahindra’s tough UV platform underneath and acres of space inside, even the third row can accommodate three full-size adults, makes the equation more competitive, especially to those who use it for the tourist purpose in hilly regions. But since its ride height is quite high and suspension does tumble it down on the corners disappointed large number of buyers, where the Innova managed to cash upon. However, the 2014 has brought improvements to Innova and Xylo both. But since the former was only a cosmetic makeover at the most, engineers at Mahindra thought of improving some most reported technical issues as well, where to name it is of the suspension and in the drivetrain instead. Mahindra Scorpio S4 Plus Launched
2014 would have remained a memorable year for Mahindra, as debuted the new-gen Scorpio. In an attempt to make some memories for the 2015 as well, it launched a new variant of the SUV to target a wider segment of audience. Reportedly, S4+ variant has been rolled out inclusive of dual-front airbags, warning and panic brake indication, ABS with EBD and seatbelt-reminder. Follow-me-home headlamps are standard. It is positioned above the S4 trim, so the automaker had removed that shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive from the S4, and has placed it on the S4+. Likewise to S2 and S4 trims, S4+ is launched with steel rims and black side cladding unlikely to the body coloured cladding and alloys of higher variants.

Nissan Teana Discontinued In India
It doesn’t sounds unobvious for Teana to be discontinued from the Indian market. After all, only a handful of them were sold during 2014, and if said precisely only 15 units were rolled out of the showroom during the entire year. Earlier, it was X-Trail and Z370 that got axed from Indian market. Now, Teana joining their fray had completely shunned off the upmarket presence of this Japanese carmaker. Higher import duties for the cars imported as CBU (completely built units) in India had added woes to Teana’s discontinuation. Worsening the scenario further, was the only petrol engine in its bay that turned down the buyers from looking towards it. After considering the dominance of diesel, those oil burners would have worked for Nissan to earn its bread and butter from this segment if launched. [...]
