Toyota Fortuner With 2.5L Diesel Coming By Early October
Toyota Fortuner, ace of Japanese SUVs in India, is about to get more lucrative than before. As earlier reported of carmaker developing a 2.5L diesel variant, the same is about to launch in October 2014. Under hoods, the oil burner is meant to power output of 142bhp mated to a manual transmission available in two-wheel drive variant. At present, Fortuner is also in the line to join the fray of automatic transmission with 4WD of a 3.0L diesel engine powering 168bhp. On the sales chart, the 4×2 variant automatic consisted of 50% Fortuner’s sales. The next-gen SUV is also lined-up and was spotted testing in Thailand. Reportedly, McLaren rolled out 625C (Club) a slightly cheaper version of the 650S meant to rightly cater the rising demands of super-toys from the continent. The Club version is also slower on the performance. As rated, 0-100km/h in 3.1 seconds (+0.1 sec) and 0-200km/h in 8.8 seconds (+0.4 sec).
