Don’t get drooled over that new E-Class wasn’t having a diesel engine in India. Instead, mid-size sedan of Mercedes was deployed with a 2.1-litre diesel engine tagged under the badge of E250 CDi. Tapping the demand of a more aggressive powerplant than the existing, company rolled-out twin-turbocharged V6 diesel of 3.0-litre under the E350 badge for Rs 57.42 lakh ex-showroom Pune.
