The Nexa dealership from Maruti Suzuki is all set to undergo expansion and will fan out to as many as 80 locations across the country in anticipation for the launch of their upcoming offering, the Baleno. Yamaha will be showcasing as many as six new vehicles at the Tokyo Motor Show and is lining up one of its most anticipated offering, the 4Wheeler for the same. The 4Wheeler is the first ever car from the brand which is renowned for its bikes and it has teased the first image of the car which it says has been inspired by motorcycles. Maruti Ertiga Facelift Launched at Rs.5.99 Lakhs
The Ertiga facelift has been launched in India by Maruti Suzuki and this will be the first updated edition of the car since its 2012 launch. The car has both mechanical as well as cosmetic updates and packs quite a punch in its new avatar. The MOV now comes with two engine options. First is the 1.4 litre petrol unit that delivers 94bhp in terms of power as well as 130Nm of torque. The diesel unit is a 1.3 litre MultiJet engine that gives 90bhp of power as well as 200Nm in terms of torque. Updated Etios Liva Launched by Toyota for Rs.5.76 Lakh
The new updated Liva hatchback has been launched by Toyota at a price of Rs.5.76 lakh for the petrol edition and Rs.6.79 lakh for the diesel variant. The car sees a few minor cosmetic changes and will have dual airbags as a standard across models. The powertrain has been left unchanged with the 1.4-litre diesel engine and the 1.2-litre petrol engine continuing to service the car and both coming mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Prices of Diesel Raised by 95 paise, Petrol Prices Remain Unchanged
In what is a continuing trend in the swinging of prices, the price of diesel was raised by 95 paise per litre which is the second increase in October alone. On a better note though, petrol prices were untouched, but this does belie a growing volatility in the oil markets. IOC (Indian Oil Corporation) had raised the prices of diesel by 50 paise at the beginning of this month and while prices of diesel were Rs.44.95 per litre two days ago in the national capital, today the prices will be Rs.45.90 per litre of the fuel. Fuel prices are mainly driven by two major forces- prices of crude oil in the international markets and the exchange rate fluctuations between the Indian Rupee and the US Dollar.
