Isuzu’s aggressive strategy for penetrating India is gaining foothold with every passing day. The launch of D-Max pickup truck and MU-7 SUV are the only ones that company has on its board to offer with no plans of bringing something new to the shores. And to sell both of them it now opened a showroom in Noida (Uttar Pradesh). Dubbed as Fahrenheit Isuzu, it is the first in that state, spawned over 14,000 sq ft. UP is one of the most lucrative markets for automobiles in India with lot of provision for the commercial markets. None of us in India would have taken that Nissan Micra can also do racing other than the daily commute. Recently launched in Canada, the hatchback is touted to take on the racetrack soon by 2015. Dubbed as Nissan Micra Cup, the event will kick start in May 2015 and would continue for five further weekends. The every weekend schedule is bind to take on the couple of hours out of which there will be two races of half an hour each, a 30-minute trial and a 30-minute qualifying session. Volkswagen India has opened one more showroom in Mumbai amidst the ongoing festive season. The dealership is located at Borivali (West) conveyed as under Volkswagen Mumbai North – Mody Auto Corp. Pvt. Ltd. The showroom also has a workshop in Mira Road consisting of 14-bays. The servicing facility is reported to be bestowed with state-of-the-art accident repair and body paint workshop. The top hat of VW, Mr. Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, too was present at the inauguration. He said Mumbai to be an important market for the company which has got just braced up with an addition of dealership. With this new showroom added to the list, Volkswagen completes six (operational) facilities in Mumbai. In India, German automaker enjoys 122 operational facilities across 106 cities.
