New Scorpio Automatic Spied On Test Run: Launch Soon
New Mahindra Scorpio skipped our heartbeats at the launch, but a missing zest at that platform was pinching us imminently – the automatic variant! So, Mahindra took notice of that and announced to come up with it soon, after all the rivalry in diesel automatics are gaining limelight paving a narrower escape if fetched late to the market. To our surprise, a test-mule of new-gen Scorpio automatic can be seen doing test-run around Gurgaon-Delhi Expressway. Reportedly, Mahindra conveyed to roll-in auto transmission only for the top-end ‘S10’ variant only. Under hoods, it will be 2.2-litre MHAWK diesel engine producing 120PS max of power, which will then be mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox from Bosch – the same carried over from old-gen Scorpio automatic. Hence, prices are expected [...]

Honda Amaze With CNG Coming Soon: Rumours
At the end of a day, all automakers in India have to go CNG, and as Honda is no excteption to this clause, is now rumoured of launching the CNG-driven Amaze soon. It seems the success of Amaze – for being first Honda car in India with diesel engine – had turned the Japanese automaker to also look into the remaining gap of most-efficient drivable options. It will be viable with the petrol engine of 1.2-liter i-VTEC. Hence, company will not brush up the whole line-up with this new fuel-option. Instead, E and EX variants, apparently also a one from top-end, will make to this new list. An increment of Rs 30,000-50,000 can be expected for the CNG variant over the respective petrol version. Till any concrete confirmation arrives, we consider this rumour had a strong potential of seeing the reality.
