Range Rover 3.0 V6 diesel launched for Rs.1.44 crore

Land Rover has now added another new 3.0 litre V6 diesel option to its Range Rover product line-up in India. The move is mainly seen as an attempt to lure more buyers with this down the line engine. The new engine will allow Land Rover to grab some buyers who are looking for a powerful diesel variant.
The new version comes with a 2993 cc twin turbo V6 diesel unit that churns out about 255 bhp and about 61.2 kgm of torque. The engine is mated to the same ZF sourced 8 speed gearbox that is housed in other Range Rover variants.

Maruti Suzuki Launches Eeco with More Smiles

Maruti had claimed all the section of masses and is doing successfully with major of them. It doesn’t affect this Indian carmaker that whether its product are running under cab skin or something else. Leaving those discussions behind, Maruti had launched Eeco Smiles Edition only for a ‘limited’ time.
Eeco possess 1.2 liter four cylinder engine; while the Smiles Edition is being introduced in both the options of 7 seater as well as 5 seater. To make it more lucrative Maruti charges an additional amount of Rs. 9,490 on the present badge which then brings in a whole list of add-ons, restricted to selected buyers only.

Mahindra Reva e2o all set to reduce running cost to 50 paise per km

According to Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), the running cost of their newly rolled out electric car ‘e2o’ will be as low as 50 paise per kilometer (km). Hard to believe, but this new car neither runs on diesel or petrol and nor does it have any conventionally loaded engine.
This truth comes from Mahindra’s stable that their brand new electric car Reva e2o runs on next generation li-ion battery, which does not require any maintenance and cover up to 100 km on a single charge.
After a full charge, it produces top speed of up to 82 km per hour (kmph) and to top it up, it can be charged from a simple home socket.

Mahindra e2o is nothing new but the reworked version of DC concept NXR which was truly made for the Mahindra itself. Though whatever the past maybe, e2o is standing to make future bright and more wisely it can be said about that ‘cost-effective’ as well, which Mahindra is very famous for.
