Flat-Proof Tires To Enter Production Bay in 2014

Flat-proof tire was first introduced by Michelin in 2005 and since then it wasn’t leaked out for general audience.
It is also known as Non-Pneumatic Tires (NPT) and is very much useful for off-road purpose. Just some recent flicks back, Polaris had announced to bring this air-less technology for general public in ‘2014’. As said, it was actually built by Resilient Technologies which is now a part of Polaris acquisitions.
Describing this new offering, spokesperson of Polaris Mr. Jason Difuccia says, NPT is very similar to bicycle wheels as it carries load in tension across the top of wheel, while bottom of the wheel is carved to perform on obstacles like rocks, curbs and other such terrains.

Fiat cancels the Decision of Plant Shutdown

Earlier the news came in that Fiat, Renault and Opel are going to shut their manufacturing units in order to curb losses incurred from slowdown sales. Not so clear about others, but now Fiat had cleared its way by cancelling its decision for the same.
At the opening of a new plant for luxurious Maserati, John Elkann, Chairman of Fiat, said that in spite of some heavy lashes we are affirming to continue our production.
Italy was a priority for this carmaker to roll down the shutter.
Sergio Marchionne, Chief Executive of Chrysler also assured that no plants will be shut down in Italy, as there were reports mentioning to reduce the factory units from five to four.

Fiat to celebrate coffee festival in India

Fiat India has announced the commencement of the two month long Coffee festival. The festival will begin at the FIAT Café at 42 Janpath, Connaught place, New Delhi and will be holding a series of events such as performance by band, open mic night, standup comedy, cupping workshops and much more from late January to mid of March.
From the furniture to the mugs and cushions, the Café will be decorated to take the audience to a world of coffee never seen before. Fiat India opens its first Exclusive dealership in Punjab

Fiat India has opened its first world class dealership in Punjab on December 28th. The dealership is opened at Dada Motors, at B-63 near Chevron Hotel building at GiaspuraChowk in Ludhiana. The 13,000 sq. ft. showroom is equipped with all state of the art full-service workshop and a tailored design shop for providing unique experience to the Fiat customers.
The inauguration was done by MD of Fiat group, Mr. Enrico Atanasio.
