Lamborghini reveals its Egoista concept

The 50th year of Lamborghini and the celebrations has been concluded with the revelation of Egoista concept car from Lamborghini.
The Egoista concept was revealed in a dramatic dinner that was organized by the company boss, Stephan Winkelmann to mark the end of the weeklong celebration and long drive by 350 Lamborghini through Italy to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the brand.
Lamborghini has declared that the car was designed by Walter De Silva and it inherits the name because it has only one seat. The styling is said being inspired by the war machine, Apache Helicopter and the early reports from the company suggests that the car is made mostly from the carbon fiber to keep its weight low. Lamborghini starts Grand Tour to celebrate its 50th Anniversary

The Tour started from the Piazza Castello in Milan and had started at 1:30 pm on 8th May. The Grand Tour to celebrate the 50 year of Lamborghini is the largest car gathering from the company with the fleet that is over 4km long and raging with over 190,000 hp hitting the road.
About 350 cars out of which 320 are registered and about 30 cars will be coming from the press and guests will be arriving at the Piazza Castello in the front to of Sforzesco Castle with their drivers and co-drivers a total of 700 people. Since last couple of days the fans have witnessed the arrival of car from across the globe and the registration for the people who will be driving to the first meeting point has been completed.

Lamborghini reveals Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition

The new Aventador LP720-4 50 will be a limited edition model (just about 100 cars) and has been leaked prior to its official launch through a set of images.
As the name suggests the new model will be tougher than the previous model i.e. the standard Aventador. The power has been elevated from 619 bhp to 710 bhp a rise of about 19 bhp but the vehicle is still powered by the same 6.0 litre V12 engine that runs the standard model.
Attributing to the small power gain it is unlikely that Aventador LP720-4 will have a improved performance over the standard Aventador LP700-4. The standard model is capable of reaching 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds and it can go all the way up to 351 kmph.
