Mitsubishi opens dealership in Amritsar, Punjab

A Mitsubishi dealership has been opened in Amritsar, Punjab by Hindustan Motors Ltd on 22nd August, 2012. With this, the dealership of Mitsubishi in India becomes 39 and 12 of them are located in North India. In Punjab, the company already has opened its dealerships in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Mohali and Amritsar is the 5thin that list.

New Variant of Mitsubishi Cedia revealed

Hindustan Motor has revealed an all new variant of its sedan Mitsubishi Cedia. The all new Mitsubishi Cedia, also known as Cedia Select 2012, hasbeen priced at Rs.8.90 lakhs (Ex- showroom Delhi). The Cedia comes with a 1999 cc petrol engine coupled with 5-speed manual transmission which delivers 175 Nm of torque at 4250 rpm. The Cedia offers top speed of about 196 kmph and can attain 0 to 100 kmph in just 10.6 sec.

Mitsubishi U.K not to order more EvoXs after selling last ten

Mitsubishi U.K will not be filling the stocks of 2012 Evo X once it rolls out its last ten units due to uncomplimentary exchange rate as compared to the stronger Yen. The dealers even tried to sell the car at no profit, but later decided to discontinue the selling of the Mitsubishi performance flagship car, the EVO X.
Instead of selling the car at no profit, Mitsubishi U.K wants to be the part of the development of the next Evo, the managing director, Lance Bradley told in a statement to Autocar. A regular next-gen Lancer is dated to arrive in 2014, the high performance version is still not in the lane of production.
