Peugeot has now officially revealed the images of its new 2014 308, which according to the company is the car that will revitalize its presence in the ultra-compact family hatchback segment. The car now looks more premium that the earlier generation and the company claims that the new vehicle is better in terms of efficiency, quality and drivability. The new generation Peugeot 308 will be making its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show on 10th of September 2013, while the sales will be starting from the January 2014 in the UK market.

The French auto maker, Peugeot has now officially unveiled soon to arrive 2008 Compact SUV prior to its debut that is scheduled at 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. The compact SUV will be in direct competition with the SUVs like Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport in the Europe and there is no chance of it to appear soon in Indian market as Peugeot has currently put its India plan on hold. Peugeot Citroen and GM to focus on smaller vehicles

General Motors and PSA Peugeot Citroen confirmed the signing of a major agreement for the commencement of their Global Strategic Alliance. According to the terms of the Master Agreement dated 29th Feb 2012, the partners have signed agreement related to the three of the initial vehicle projects.
The three vehicle projects that have been selected are under the following segments:
A joint program for development of C-MPV for the Opel/Vauxhall and a C-CUV2 for the Peugeot brand.
A mutual MPV3 program for B segment
Joint development of an upgraded low CO2 for B-segment.

Variations in the road-structures come as part and parcel when we move from developed to developing or underdeveloped countries. Most of us would remember Peugeot’s (it is by the way pronounced as (Per – zow) or even Paa – Zo) first entry in India as the Peugeot 307. The two lion on two legs logo would forever be etched in many minds considering that the 309 was an iconic vehicle of its time in India.
