Porsche 911 Unveiled Just Ahead of Frankfurt Motor Show
Just ahead of its global debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Porsche has unveiled the 911 sports car. Powered by a new twin-turbo 3.0-liter turbocharged engine, the Porsche 911 will come in two variants – the Carrera and Carrera S. The engine in 911 produces a peak power and torque of 356bhp and 450Nm in the Carrera and 416bhp and 500Nm in the Carrera S respectively. Engine in both cars have been mated to either a 7-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. With all this technology, the Porsche 911 can hop from zero to 100kmph in just 4.2 and 3.9 seconds for the Carrera and the Carrera S respectively. It seems German automaker Porsche is all set to join the ranks of Tesla when it unveils its first all electric model at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. In all probability the car will be named Pajun and will share some similarities with the Audi A6 in terms of look and overall appearance.
