Porsche Macan launched in India for a starting price of Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). The Macan is available in two trims at present, Macan S diesel (priced at Rs 1 crore) and Macan Turbo petrol (priced at Rs 1.1 crore) both ex-showroom Delhi. The compact SUV of Porsche is competed against the likes of Audi Q5, BMW X3 in India. Macan S diesel underneath the hoods stores a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine producing 245hp and 580 Nm of torque. According to the reports, the automaker is currently working on a range of smaller-displacement engines with fewer cylinders.
