Skoda to unveil Octavia vRS at 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Goodwood Festival of Speed 2013, to be held on the grounds of Goodwood Estate from July 11 to July 14, is going to witness the unveiling of Skoda’s new debutant the 2013 Octavia vRS (Laura RS in India) as per the firm’s announcement. The Octavia vRS is the sports version of the 2013 Octavia that made its global debut last year in the month of December.
This Czech auto manufacturer made sports car is expected to be making use of a 2.0 liter TFSI petrol engine that will churn out approx 220 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Finance department of this German owned brand looks on a spending spree and to prove its bet, once again they have rolled out a new type of limited period scheme for engaging more and more buyers.
Lastly, the parent company Volkswagen had introduced a limited period offer on some its model, which then later on is shifted to Audi. Now this time, Skoda Rapid is under the radar of those finance officials.

Skoda goes green with ‘Green Future’

Skoda is working on its sustainability efforts under a new program called “Green Future’. The program now forms an integral part of the SKODA growth strategy for 2018 and constituting the environmental strategy of the VW group. The program is aimed at helping the company with the current and future models to make them more fuel-efficient and to see that all the resources at disposal are used more efficiently and sustainably.

Skoda Rolls Out Citigo ‘Sport’ In The UK Market

As per latest reports, the innovative Skoda ‘Citigo Sport’ is currently available to buy, with costs commencing from around £10,290 in the UK market.
The latest forceful, athletic model boasts of improved equipment and will be obtainable in 3- and 5-door editions. The said vehicle will come with a 1.0 MPI 60PS engine.
The newly rolled out Skoda Citigo Sport boasts superior sports styling, a lowered suspension system and completely modified interior.
The trim is based on the current Citigo SE, and consists of a frugal 1.0 MPI 60PS petrol engine connected with a 5-gear manual transmission.
