Skoda in Moscow: Rapid, Yeti Sochi uncovered, Yeti 1.4 TSI DSG makes world debut

Skoda has unveiled the European Rapid sedan at the ongoing Moscow International Auto Show (MIAS) in Russia.
Apart from the Rapid, Czech car manufacturer has also revealed a special version of their sport utility vehicle, Yeti Sochi especially for Russian car purchasers.
Called Yeti Sochi, the uniqueversion of Yeti is planned to as a sample to Skoda’s backing of the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Yeti Sochi will be obtainable at Skoda franchises in the Russian market by the coming year (2013).
Yeti Sochi is catered by a 1.8L petrol TSI engine coupled to a six velocity DSG transmission, yieldingutmostyield of 150 bhp.

Volkswagen Finance Pvt Ltd has introduced an exciting limited period offer of Rs. 9999/- EMI on Skoda Rapid. The new EMI option givescustomers a chance to fulfill their dream of upgrading to a premium sedan like Skoda Rapid.
Talking about the initiative, Chairman, Managing Board Volkswagen Finance Pvt Ltd said that the offer had appeared in a time when auto industry is showing decline in sales figures. He further added that an affordable EMI like Rs. 9999 will allow customers to transits from the existing hatchback to a spacious and premium sedan. Skoda Auto India has announced a price rise for all its models ranging from 1 to 1.8 percent. The new prices will be made effective from August 2012. The company is claiming that the increase in input prices and the volatile exchange rates are responsible for the announced price rise.
Skoda Auto India is doing quite good in the market which has not seen a proper growth in the last few months. The Czech carmaker has registered an incredible growth rate of about 89% in June 2012 against the same period last year.
