Volvo has rolled out its latest dump truck exclusively fabricated for deep opencast mining applications in the Indian market.
Swedish truck and bus manufacturer anticipates that the latest Volvo FM480 10×4 Dump Truck will position novel standards in the mining business.

Volvo Cars, the Swedish car manufacturer possessed by China based Geely Corporation, has announced that the introduction of the new Volvo V40 Cross Countryin the Indian market would happen by March next year (2013).
Based on the standard V40 five-door hatchback, the new Volvo V40 Cross Country is said toboast a 2.0-litre D3 diesel engine.

Volvo planning for a performance oriented V40 Polestar

Volvo UK’s market managing director, Nick Conner has made it clear that the company is working in collaboration with the Tuner Polestar to produce and develop a high performance version of the V40 Hatchback, that debuted in Geneva last march.
Currently the precise technical details are not available but Connor told PistonHeads that the new Polestar V40 will have at least 10 percent more horsepower than its T5 model.This means the car will lie in 280-300 horsepower range. This will make it stand amongst the leading German Automotive giants like BMW, Audi and Mercedes.
