Ferrari is speculated to be working on a more powerful version of its popular Ferrari 458 Italia supercar. The automaker is planning to come back with a lighter and more powerful version of the 458. Also there are chances that the car might be tagged with a newer name. It is quite notable that the F340 become 430 Scuderia and the 599 GTB Fiorano turned into the 599 GTO.
If the reports from the autoblog. nl are to be believed, the new car might be named as the Monte Carlo and would inherit 620 hp of power. The current Ferrari 458 Italia is equipped with a 4.5 liter 562 bhp V8. The Monte Carlo is also believed to come with some carbon linings and would be considerably lighter than the Ferrari 458 Italia. Although nothing much is currently known about the upcoming model butthe new car will hit the road by mid-2013
