With festive season around the corner, Ford India is all set to cash in on this unique sale time with its new Ford Figo facelift. With the new facelift of the Figo, Ford is all set to hit the small car market with its redesigned hatchback. Although the new car has been shipped to dealers, the official launch has yet not been finalized. It is expected that the new model will be featuring a price tag higher than the existing model. It has been reported that the facelift Figo has received some cosmetic changes.
Taking the lessons from the Ford’s latest design, the facelift displays a new air damn and hexagonal grille. Moreover, the front bumpers have received new styling and indicators have also been repositioned. Beside the above mentioned changes, the headlamps have been blessed with new reflector design which offers bright and better lightning than the existing Figo. The interior too has received few changes like the twin tone dashboard and audio controls besides the car steering.
Ford Figo facelift will not be receiving any changes in terms of engines. It will be receiving the same 1.2 litre Duratec petrol and 1.4 litre Duratorq diesel engine. The diesel engine will be producing a peak power of about 68 PS and maximum torque of about 160 Nm. The engine also offers reasonable mileage in proper condition.
The facelift Figo will be available for sale in couple of weeks. Ford is also developing a new model that will be debuting by early 2014.
