We have kept informing about the various in and outs of Formula E. Ultimately, the first car of Formula is out at a public demonstration in Las Vegas and we left no chances of shooting our anchor over there to cover up the event in detail.

The vehicle which surfaced at public demonstration was the Renault SRT_01E single-seater, showcased by Formula One driver Lucas di Grassi.

Event was held at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino of Las Vegas and Renault’s F1 driver entertained the crowd by speeding around the Resort to give spectators a sumptuous dose of what the Formula E cars sounds and feels when driven.

The inaugural season of Formula E is slated to be held in between September 2014 and June 2015. 10 events are schedule to take place in between the duration on various circuits around the world. China, Malaysia, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, United States, Monaco, Germany and United Kingdom are the countries tagged to held races. The teams competing for the Formula E are Venturi Grand Prix, Virgin Racing, Drayson Racing, e.dams, ABT Sportsline, Andretti Autosport, Dragon Racing, China Racing, Super Aguri and Mahindra Racing.

“Since the FIA launched Formula E just over a year ago, the progress and interest in the series has been overwhelming. When we started we had no cities, no teams, no broadcasters and no car. Now we have all these things so to be able to showcase our new car to everyone involved, and of course the fans, is a very proud moment. 2014 is a very big year for Formula E with the championship starting in September so it’s important to be starting on such a positive note”, said Alejandro Agag, CEO of series promotes Formula E Holdings, at the event.
