India’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki India is now working on its first hybrid car, which will run on both petrol and electricity. This news was disclosed by two of the senior officers while they were talking with the CNBC TV18, the small car is being developed together by Japanese engineers.
The officers further revealed that the project is currently in the initial stage, so the time for launch is not definite but they had made sure that the company is serious about revealing that vehicle in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki currently doesn’t have any electrical vehicle in Indian market but believes that the Hybrid vehicle will be future of the automotive world.
The company has not yet revealed any details about the vehicle but we expect that it will be an economical vehicle as Maruti has always been praised for offering products for masses rather than targeting any group.
