Mitsubishi opens dealership in Amritsar, Punjab

A Mitsubishi dealership has been opened in Amritsar, Punjab by Hindustan Motors Ltd on 22nd August, 2012. With this, the dealership of Mitsubishi in India becomes 39 and 12 of them are located in North India. In Punjab, the company already has opened its dealerships in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Mohali and Amritsar is the 5thin that list.

Whileinaugurating the dealership of M/s Kapoor Motors, Mr. Uttam Bose, Managing Director, HM, stated that Punjab has always shown special liking for macho Mitsubishi sports utility vehicles. HM vehicles and the people of Punjab share the combination of strength and go-getter attitude. These rugged Mitsubishi SUVs can take you to any place at any point of the time. These vehicles will be liked by those who always like to travel through the difficult and challenging terrains. Apart from allowing the people to travel on rough and tough roads, these renowned vehicles will ensure that driving is comfortable and luxurious on the city roads.

Mr. Ashish Kaul , Head of Sales and Channel Expansion of HM, also accompanied Mr. Bose. M/S Kapoor Motors is located in the center of the city on the G.T.Road on national highway NH1. The company’s 3S (sales, service and spares) dealership will have all the facilities which are needed to run a successful automotive business. The show located on the plot number 12 at National City Homes is stretched over an area of 6000 square feet and has a service area of about 16,650 square feet. It has 14 bays and can give service to 25 vehicles every day. An area of 800- square feet is kept for spare parts.

There are 26 people employed in M/s Kapoor Motors, out of which 8 are in sales and 18 are in service. All the employees have got training to meet L1 and L2 standards.
