After the news that Mr. Ashok B. Ramaswamy, current president and managing director of Delphi Automotive India will move back to the Delphi Electronics and Safety division, Kokomo, Indiana USA, there were many speculations as to who will hold his position after him. So, recently Delphi Automotive announced that they have appointed Mr. Reji Varghese as the new president and managing director of the company. They have also said that Mr. Reji Varghese will be responsible for leading the Delphi India’s managing team as well as driving Delphi’s business development growth to the next level. In accordance to his role in Delphi Automotive India, Reji is also appointed as the managing director of the Delphi Connection Systems India operation.
Reji’s connection with Delphi has been since the year 1996. In his long term relationship with Delphi he has been assigned various assignments in the EFA division. Earlier he used to hold the post of Director Program Management under the EFA division of Delphi India. Reji holds a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and prior to this new appointment he was associated with Samcor Glass Limited and Teletube Electronics Limited.
