With the inauguration of sales and marketing headquarters in Mumbai, here came one more news from the Nissan’s bay claiming the appointment of Guillaume Sicard as Deputy President, Nissan India Operations, effective from July 1st 2014.
Sicard is entitled to report to Kenichiro Yomura, President Nissan India Operations. In this role he will be responsible for accelerating strategic decision making and streamlining operational efficiency to help achieve the company’s objectives in India.
“This appointment supports the recently announced changes to our India operations and will enable us to continue delivering strong results and growth towards achievement of the Nissan Power 88 mid-term plan. The Nissan India team is continuing to strengthen its focus on ensuring high product quality and customer satisfaction, while improving both brand and product value with our dealer network,” said Kenichiro Yomura.
Currently, Sicard is serving as Chief Operating Officer – Renault Turkey (MAIS). His association with Renault started way back in 1992 and his experience-portfolio held several leadership positions in sales and marketing with increasing responsibilities in France, Spain and South Africa.
Hope so, this may also aide the brand to get insights from another expert of Nissan, which would bring more sum of fortunes even to the Nissan’s low-cost brand Datsun.
