Nissan Patrol Facelift Unveiled

Nissan has unveiled the facelift of sixth-gen Patrol SUV with some ultimate changes that were most needed. The major ones can be named as flashy front grille, sculpted front bumpers, LED treatments for headlamps and some round edges. The alloys too are new, and the tail lamps are given slight makeover.

On inside, the new sixth-gen Patrol is almost the same, with no such remarkable changes. In fact, there are minor changes here and there out of which the new infotainment software is a one to name. Five-seven passenger seating capacity, TFT screens integrated into front headrests, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, ventilated seats and a 9.3-GB hard drive continues their journey on the facelifted Nissan SUV.

Under hoods, Nissan Patrol facelift holds petrol aspirated 5.6L V8 in two states of tunes: 317hp with AWD and options of five- or a six-speed automatic transmission; and a 400hp V8 with seven-speed automatic gearbox for better fuel efficiency. For the diesel buyers, Japanese carmaker has said to prefer the last-generation model which is a bit rugged and less posh, so the workout in off-road terrains may fall heavy on wallets.

In fact, the Toyota Land Cruiser now needs to worry because the competition has just got better and is about to crank some fanatic action in the league of a better Japanese SUV.
