Raymond Concludes ‘Drive for Passion’ Contest







Some days back we reported about the Raymond’s digital campaign ‘Drive for Passion’, now it is been reported the same witnessed phenomenal success where the winners got an opportunity to win a splendid ride on a blazing high performance monster – T-REX. Alok Seth, Ajay Bhalla and Shantanu Gupte were the lucky winners of this contest. Alok along with Ajay got a chance to experience an adrenaline rushing, mind-altering ride in India’s only T-REX and were driven around at dizzying speeds within the Thane facility. The winners also got an opportunity to get one of their friends along with them for this experience.

With this, the checkered flag finally came down on the grand online contest and a first-of-its kind customer-connect program from Raymond Limited, which saw its Facebook fan page and Twitter handle receive tremendous excitement levels from its users.

Raymond Limited – the leading manufacturer, marketer and retailer of worsted suiting fabrics, had unveiled ‘Drive for Passion’ digital campaign offering an opportunity to win a ride in T-REX. The activation went on till 30th November wherein the participants were needed to visit Raymond’s FB page and write about their driving experience.

The digital activation is the extension of Raymond’s new ad campaign to launch Autumn Winter Collection 2013. The campaign explores into ‘The Complete Man’s’ interests and passions as an attempt to delve into his personal life. The campaign is based on three communication pillars – a man who drives for passion, rides for joy and walks with the world.

Mr. Mrinmoy Mukherjee, Director – Marketing, said, “We congratulate the winners and hope they had a great ride in the T-Rex. Our latest campaign explores the other side of The Complete Man’s Personality- his passions, interests and lifestyle traits. Aligning with this thought, we offered an opportunity of a lifetime to experience the thrill, adventure and the drive on T-Rex and have managed to receive an overwhelming response for this digital activity.”

One of the winners seemed the most thrilled to take the coveted spot inside the T-REX. “Being driven with a certified driver in the T-Rex was definitely a memorable experience and it was really one of the finest moment of my life. We are really thankful to Raymond who gave us this opportunity and made us feel exiting all day,” said Alok Seth.

Commenting on this opportunity, another winner of this contest Ajay Bhalla added, “I am really amazed with this adventurous trip to the Raymond race track in Thane. I would like to thank Raymond to extend this opportunity to experience Racing. The drive in the T-Rex made me feel that the passion of racing never ends and will surely remember this experience for an entire lifetime.”

The participants were chosen based on the best experience shared by them. They were asked to write about their first drive, their first car and interesting expeditions on wheels to new destinations.
