Skoda has unveiled the European Rapid sedan at the ongoing Moscow International Auto Show (MIAS) in Russia.
Apart from the Rapid, Czech car manufacturer has also revealed a special version of their sport utility vehicle, Yeti Sochi especially for Russian car purchasers.
Called Yeti Sochi, the uniqueversion of Yeti is planned to as a sample to Skoda’s backing of the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Yeti Sochi will be obtainable at Skoda franchises in the Russian market by the coming year (2013).
Yeti Sochi is catered by a 1.8L petrol TSI engine coupled to a six velocity DSG transmission, yieldingutmostyield of 150 bhp.
The company has also made the globe debut of Yeti 1.4 TSI DSG in Moscow at the Moscow International Auto Show (MIAS) in Russia.
Professor Dr. h.c. Winfried Vahland, CEO, Skoda Auto, stated that Russia is a pillar of their worldwide growth proposals and has a vitalsignificance for their 2018 growth policy.
Professor Dr. h.c. added that Russia is one of the globe’s strongest developing markets, and provides incredibleprospective for Skoda.
They plan to resolutely carry ontheir activeexpansion of recent years. They will have more capacity at some pointin an attempt to further lift uptheir sales in the Russian market.
