Compact SUVs are one the minds of every carmaker, and making no exception here too, the SsangYong is spotted testing one of its compact SUV somewhere in the vicinity of Europe. Hope so, as per the strategy of the brand it is codenamed as X100 and is speculated to rival the Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, Nissan Juke and such.
Appropriately, the Ssangyong’s compact SUV is named as XLV, and here in the spy-shots it is covered in the camouflages. None of the gimmicks can be sneaked in. But looking at it from the overall gesture, the Korean carmaker seems presently building the 5-seater variant, whereas it has previewed the 7-seater at the motor shows. Platform pinned underneath is the same that its parent company’s upcoming crossover codenamed S102 is spotted using. However, reports on internet indicate that the upcoming Korean compact SUV will be heavily loaded with features like its elder sibling Rexton.
Hence, the pricing are about to be in the hand of between 13,000-15,000 pounds (INR 13-15 lakhs) depending upon the country it is launched. No words on the launch are delivered yet.
