Skoda in order to serve the purpose of World Environment Day, Skoda Auto India in association with SIAM announces “Free Pollution Check” program on June 5th 2014.
The main aim of this initiative was to spread awareness on environment. This initiative by Skoda India substantiates company’s commitment towards the society and the environment.
Skoda owners can get a “Free Pollution Check” done on June 5th at any Skoda dealership across the country.
Under the “Free Pollution Check” service personnel will incorporate emission checking equipment and devices to clean the engine. The customers availing of the unique initiative will be assisted by technical personnel at the Skoda Auto dealerships across India.
All Skoda dealers have persistently shown their interest in taking this program actively throughout the day. And to an addition, the service personnel will also lend the valuable tips on car maintenance and longevity. Skoda customers visiting the “Free Pollution Check” camp will be entitled to a free PUC certificate by the Skoda Auto dealers in association with SIAM.
Skoda has shown aggression in the 2014, and has relieved the facts officially that its flagship sedan Octavia has won 7 prestigious automotive awards in India for different categories. A number of other revised launches had also helped the brand to grow up to this extent.

Skoda Auto India has announced a price rise for all its models ranging from 1 to 1.8 percent. The new prices will be made effective from August 2012. The company is claiming that the increase in input prices and the volatile exchange rates are responsible for the announced price rise.
Skoda Auto India is doing quite good in the market which has not seen a proper growth in the last few months. The Czech carmaker has registered an incredible growth rate of about 89% in June 2012 against the same period last year.
Skoda is considering India as one of the most vital centers of growth in the region since its arrival in the Indian market more than 10 years ago. According to its 2018 Growth Strategy, Skoda is aiming to increase its global sales by at least 1.5 million per year.
Skoda Auto India, completely owned subsidiary of Skoda Auto, a Czech Republic manufacturer today announced the growth of 43% for the month of November 2011 over same period in 2010. The total sales of Skoda Auto India for November 2011 stood at 2627 units against 1841 units for November 2010. Mr. Thomas Kuehl, Board Member Sales and Marketing at Skoda India said that they have currently entered into most competitive C segment in the country with Rapid Sedan and expect it to become one of the best selling models in the Skoda lineup. They already have more than 1600 bookings and response for Rapid is exceptional. They are confident and excited about promise and plans for providing good value to consumers.
Skoda Auto India is looking towards the Indian automotive market for contributing significantly towards international sales figures. The company has launched the all new Skoda Rapid Sedan on the 16th of November 2011 in most spirited C class. Skoda Auto India announced a 98% growth in their sales for July, compared to the same period a year ago.
