Toyota to roll out a low-cost car

A few of the sources from Japan have affirmed that Toyota is expected to roll out a low-priced brand to fight with Nissan’s Datsun set-of-models.

There are conjecturesall around that the company will make adeclaration on the same by September end or in the starting of the coming month.

The Toyota functionaries have refused such occurrence, but the media sources appear to be sure with the facts.

The sources also state that the auto giant could be presenting something to the media persons in Thailand by the end of 2012 or the beginning of the next year too.

There is no confirmation about this thus far. However, it can be affirmed once the final news is out.

Also, the hearsays of a Datsun sedan are not factual. Datsun will bring in two hatchback cars by the year of 2014 that will be contending with the Alto and the Wagon R.

With the aim to amplify its footing in the growing markets, Toyota could go after a similar policy like the Nissan.
