The Volkswagen Jetta Petrol has been in the news because of its launch during a period when the entire nation is facing crazy petrol price rise. The Jetta TSI has anex-showroom price tag of Rs.13.60 lakhs for the Trendline and Rs.15.07 lakhs for the Comfortline in New Delhi. The car has a 1.4L TSI engine as its powerhouse. The engine is capable of delivering maximum power of around 121bhp@5000rpm and a peak torque of 200Nm. The 1.4L TSI engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.

The Jetta TSI has been made a bit longer (90mm to be precise) than the last version.The car has been loaded with some real good features including alloy wheels, rear fog lamps, side turn integrated ORVMs and dual exhaust pipes. The interiors of the car too have been given a makeover. Leather upholstery, leather steering wheel and leather gear knobs have been the latest inclusion. Apart from these, rear AC vents, multi-function display “Plus”, height-adjustable front seat and parking with acoustic warning system too have been included in the features of the car.

Volkswagen Jetta As far as the safety factor is concerned, the Jetta TSI has been induced with ESP, six airbags, height-adjustable and belt tensioner front seat belts, electronic engine immobilizer and engine & transmission guard.
