Nissan India are going all guns what with their innovative thinking and product launches. The company has now come up with a unique idea to promote their Nissan Micra car. Ranbir Kapoor, Micra’s brand ambassador is also a part of the plot which involves 20 people from India and random 20 people in India at that, who would get to star in a 3 minute clip which would be featured on the popular networking site, Facebook.
Touted as one of the world’s largest online talent hunts, this entire process requires that fans upload a 45 seconds clip on NewStar of India page on Facebook. Hold your guns coz the page would be up only by 22nd October 2011. Not only this, at the end of this entire promotion, fans also stand to win a spanking new Nissan Micra. Ranbir Kapoor said that he was equally elated to be a part of this contest and it was the general public’s chance to be part of Bollywood for a day. Nissan India wouldn’t decide the winners and it would be the general public which would be doing all the hard work of deciding the winners.
