The interiors virtually remain unchanged with the asymmetrical dash being angled towards the driver. The 4.4 liter V8 engine under the hood gets twin turbos and direction injection technology. This engine develops 407 Bhp of peak power at 6400 rpm whereas the 600 Nm of maximum torque is available from as low as 1700-4500 rpm. Transmission is an 8 speed automatic with paddle shifts behind the steering wheel. As with the old model, there are 3 driving modes namely Normal, Sports and Sports+. All these technology enables this car to achieve the timing of 5.0 seconds for the 0-100 sprint. BMW’s EfficientDynamics ensure that this car doesn’t guzzle fuel like the earlier one and achieves a claimed 11.05 kmpl.
