Tata Aria 4×2 :
The launch of the Tata Aria 4×4 last year didn’t set the sales chart on fire primarily due to its steep for a Tata pricing. Tata Motors, in a bid to reclaim some moolah, have gone in for the 4×2 variant of the Aria thus making it somewhat value for money proposition. So, last month, the manufacturer brought in 3 new variants with a 4×2 powertrain version. Some of the interiors features were removed as well so that they could price it at the Rs 11.61 lakhs entry level price for the Pure variant.

The wheelbase has been extended and so has the list of comprehensive creature comforts deleted. The asking price of Rs 14.12 lakhs is also more than the outgoing version.

The Audi Q5’s answer comes in the form of the new updated 2011 BMW X3 with its new looks and promise of more interior space. Two models were made available at the time of launch, one petrol and the other diesel. The 2011 BMW X3 price started at Rs 45 lakhs.
