The Datsun Go introducing on 19th March in India, is one of the much-awaited hatchback, budget hatchbacks. According to our sources, it will be offered in 3 different trim levels. Being a budget-friendly hatchback targeted mainly at first-time car shoppers, the base trim level will come with the bare essentials such as manual wind down windows, no power steering or air conditioning and black bumpers rather than body colored ones. The mid-ranging variant will get a 2-speaker stereo system with aux-in (not even radio) and air conditioning.

The top of the line Datsun Go is likely to be called Go XV and will be equipped with all the features of mid variant plus electric power steering, front power windows, wheel covers, body colored bumpers, folding rear seat back, gear shift guide and trip computer with tripmeter, digital tachometer, average and instantaneous fuel efficiency readouts and distance-to-empty. It also gets segment-first follow-me-home headlights. According to our sources, the top-end Go is expected to be priced at Rs 3.80 lakh.
