Ferrari To Launch New Enzo By 2012 End

Ferrari has said that it will unveil the new Enzo by 2012-end. Luca di Montezemolo, the Chairman of the company, has announced that Ferrari will be launching the new Enzo by the end of this year. The new Enzo is Ferrari’s first ever hybrid car and will be a limited edition model. The revelation will now happen a bit earlier than 2013 which was originally estimated as when Ferrari will come out with the new Enzo.

One thing is certain- Ferrari’s first hybrid car will certainly not be named the “new Enzo”, instead rumors suggest that the successor of the Enzo is likely to be called “F70”. The “F70” is expected to be totally amazing, with a mid-mounted 7.3-liter V-12 engine mated with the KERS system and a 120-hp electric motor under the hood, which was first showcased at Beijing Auto Show 2012.

Working with the V-12 engine, the hybrid system will churn out 900BHP of power. Montezemolo had said at the Beijing Motor Show that Ferrari is going to surprise the world with the new Enzo, including its price tag.
